Lauren is from Connecticut, where she grew up with paper, pencils, and the best dogs in the world. Currently, she writes and illustrates books with the unending support of her husband, Gareth. Their favorite ice cream flavors are bittersweet chocolate chip and coffee oreo, but you'll have to guess which is whose.
