I'm Lauren! I write and illustrate books with the unending support of my best buddy, Gareth! We currently live in upstate New York, where we take long walks, do crossword puzzles, and make lots of pizza.

Before writing books, I unloaded trucks, puppeteered, served coffee, cleaned movie theaters, worked in a wood shop, and drew lots and lots of pugs (you can see my pugs at www.inkpug.com, or @inkpug on social media)!
